About Us
Having always been taught to put your faith to action and be a shining light for Christ, a couple in West Michigan began to pray. God seemed to be saying, “Everything is possible for those who believe.” From a prayer and a dream of what could be, or what might be, the name “People Helping People” surfaced many times. Again, prompted by the Lord through prayer, a committed Christian business couple began to meet with community, church and government leaders, in order to determine community needs in the Lee Township area of Michigan. Not surprisingly, many leaders were sensing that something wonderful was about to begin in the community. The spark of prayer and faith and many miles of footsteps and conversations beginning in 2007, now has given birth to a Christian ministry with several partnering groups joining in the venture. “People Helping People” located in Pullman, Michigan opened doors for servicein June 2009. Love In The Name of Christ is one of our anchor partners. Our service Center, located at 943 – 56th St in Pullman serves our PHP headquarters. Please pray, and come and partner with us, as we serve in this wonderful Southwestern Michigan community. Your time, your talent and your care for people is valued and needed.
